About

The blog’s namesake is a narrow shallow body of salt water that separates Rocky Point from Marine Drive and empties into the southern shore of Dyes Inlet near Bremerton in Kitsap County, Washington. Dyes Inlet, in turn, is part of Puget Sound.

Life on Mud Bay and Mud Bay itself are the major themes of the blog’s posts. But just as there are other mud bays—both literal and figurative—blog entries will also venture out from Mud Bay to other shores like travel, politics, the economy, collector cars, and life in general.
